2025 US Open First Tee Game Changers Pavilion Volunteer Position (70 Shifts Available) – Ages 16+

Overview:
Thanks to the USGA’s support, you’ll find First Tee Game Changers Pavilion at the U.S. Open Junior Experience, which is part of the fan experience at the main entrance of the Championship. First Tee Game Changers Pavilion is an interactive activation for kids, teens and families inspired by First Tee’s mission to empower young people to become game changers in their communities.

Hours:
Monday, June 9 – Friday, June 13: 9am – 6pm

Volunteer Roles & Shifts
Volunteers are needed for two shifts per day with 5 volunteers per shift, Monday, June
9 through Sunday, June 15

Volunteers will receive the following for working a minimum of 3 shifts during the
week:

  • Week-long volunteer credential, which gives access to Championship on non-
    working days
  • A minimum of 1 concession voucher per shift, depending on shift time
  • First Tee branded t-shirt

2025 US Open Junior Course Reporter (Ages 10-12)

Overview:
Thanks to the generosity of Sentry Insurance, one participant will be selected to represent their local First Tee chapter at the U.S. Open Championship as a junior course reporter. This opportunity includes the chance to interview top PGA TOUR professionals and media personalities, behind-the-scenes tour and ‘inside the ropes’ access at the Championship, in addition to other activities and content creation.

• Should be an active participant at the Chapter for a minimum two years

PGA Jr. League

PGA Junior League (PGAJL) is an opportunity for First Tee Pittsburgh participants to play golf on a team, with numbered uniforms, against other teams in a fun two-player Scramble format. We have a league for 10U, 13U, and 17U.

Summer Camps & Teen Academy

Summer Camps provide lessons in putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing while also learning about goal setting, self-management, healthy habits, respect and much more.  Each day kids will be engaged in fun, activity based stations that allow for participants of all skill levels (and experience) to improve and make new friends.

Isaly's Junior Golf Tour

The Tri-State PGA Isaly’s Junior Tour has twenty events planned this year for both male and female golfers ages 11-18. Tournaments have five divisions, including Boys 11-14, Boys 15-16, Boys 17-18, Girls 11-15 and Girls 16-18. The Membership Fee is $150 per player, and member registration opened Sunday, February 9. 2025. The Registration Fee is $75 per event, and tournament registration opens Monday, February 24, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Contact Coach Eric Kulinna ([email protected]) for more information.
